Jonathan Yi is a professor at NYU Film. He directed “Mad Tiger” (Film Movement), “All That" (Nickelodeon), “East of Main Street” (HBO) and was the Director of Photography for “Goodnight Brooklyn” (Gravitas). He has shot music videos for ENHYPEN, Paul McCartney, Daniel Johnston, Twisted Sister, Poison and Andrew WK. He has directed over 300 commercials, receiving multiple ADDY and AICP Awards across three decades. He was the Technical Advisor for Canon during the creation of Cinema EOS, the C500, and the worldwide best-selling C300, which was the first Canon product designed outside of Japan. He worked on the animated series “Little Einsteins” (Disney), “Codename: Kids Next Door” (Cartoon Network) and did the motion capture, casting, and background editing for the video game “Rock Band” (Harmonix). A veteran of the 924 Gilman Bay Area punk scene, Jonathan has recorded and toured with his own bands since the 1990s and is the lead guitarist of NYC’s most notorious Leftöver Crack
