Bruno
I have never in my life shot a project for as long as I shot "BRUNO." In fact, shooting it was such a part of my life that I just thought of it as something I always did. A true labor of love indeed. Many, many film stock tests were conducted early on to create the unique look of the film. We eventually settled on a Black and White film from a little known company in Germany (ORWO) and color film was done with Kodachrome with an additional processing and exposure rating that emphasized the look. In the course of production, Kodachrome was discontinued, so we bought up the remainder of the 16mm stock we could and completed the movie. I am extremely proud of the results. This film is one of my favorites.
