HBO "East of Main Street: Asians Aloud"
I was asked to produce and direct an HBO series for Asian Heritage Month from the ground up. With grassroots help from a core team at HBO, we went through over 400 story submissions from the Asian American community, met with almost 100 finalists and then chose our final 14 stories, all in just a few weeks time. I am very proud of this series and am very humbled and thankful to be a part of it.
This program had HUGE viewership numbers and is a winner of the 2010 NAMIC Excellence in Multicultural Marketing Awards (EMMA).
